USO Naples Volunteer of the Quarter, Winter 2018: Aida Otieno

The USO Naples is thrilled to recognize Aida Otieno as its Volunteer of the Quarter. This nomination highlights Aida’s steadfast dedication to the NSA Naples community through her volunteer efforts with the USO. Since becoming a registered USO Volunteer, Aida has committed 157 hours to the community at various programs including Snack Attack, BINGO, Naples Got Talent, and the What to Expect When You’re Expecting Baby Shower with Heidi Murkoff.

Aida balances her volunteer experience with the various roles she plays as Spin instructor, mother, and wife. “Aida is always keeping herself busy, and doing so with a generous heart,” says Niki Leiva, USO Naples Center Manager. “She is well known within the community as a source of endless encouragement and positive reinforcement.” This energy and enthusiasm feeds into the programs at which Aida volunteers and makes it all the more memorable for those in attendance.

The USO Naples family is honored to serve the NSA Naples community and grateful for the opportunity to work with volunteers as selfless, energetic, and dedicated as Otieno. If you would like to learn more about volunteering with the USO, you are invited to email Area Director, Sabrina Pullido, at spullido@uso.org.
